Lately

So we've been doing a lot of random things lately and I guess I can just sum it up in one post...

We had a great Fathers Day

I decorated the table with fun presents, pictures and treats. I did a little "bucket list" for Jeff and Izzy to check off. Things like "do something fun just the 2 of us", "go to a lake I've never been to before", etc.

Jeff deserved every little compliment because he is truly the best Dad. A dad who wakes up and hears her talking in her crib and says "I get to get her!", "I want to change her diaper", I want to have her in church this time" is seriously the best.dad.ever. I love it...

This was one of our Sunday walks around the capital... our tradition use to be around the little island in Miami, but this is even better to go into the district with our little family :)

For our anniversary back in May, Jeff surprised me with a day of fun. We started out going to Great Falls and seeing the waterfalls, then to get a yummy frozen custard at the famous Nielsens and then off to the DC Zoo. We loved it! And izzy loved it!

My little girl is almost 1.. I can't stand it...she is just growing up way too fast. Even though she is still really tiny :). She is still crawling like crazy, standing up on things, babbling words, and when I shake my head and say "no" she shakes her head back at me. Its the funniest thing. I love it.

she turns 1 in one week!! so exciting!!!
