Lord of the Rings and Leanne Rhymes

During the summer, Jeff and were able to enjoy beautiful nights at a place called "Wolf Trap".  They have concerts, movies, and plays shown in this big amphitheater. It is beautiful inside with tons of seating and then they also have a big lawn outside where you can bring a picnic basket, a few drinks and lay down while you enjoy the concert. The acoustics are amazing!
A few weeks ago we went with our good friends Chris and Laura to the showing of "Lord of the Rings - the Two Towers". They played the movie while also having the National Orchestra, a high school choir and soloists play along with the movie. It was incredible. One of the coolest things we've seen. We enjoyed a little Whole Foods on the lawn and then went inside to sit in our seats.

Back in June, Jeff and I went and see Leanne Rhymes (I really don't know how to spell her name) sing. She was also accompanied by the national orchestra. I'll tell you what- I was never a fan of Leanne until I heard her sing live. She is amazing! We had a video of her singing but for some reason I can't find it on my camera... maybe I'll post it later. But it was so cool to see. By the end of it, Jeff and snuck to the front row which was awesome. She was even wearing her wedding ring.. weird I know (for those of you who read People... she cheated on her hubby).

Looks like fun. We need to catch up. Call me one of these mornings on your way to work. Lately I have had a 6:00am wake up call from Jax, so I will definitely be awake. Can't wait to hear from you.

Wow. This makes the things that we do together look lame. By the way I love Leann Rimes. I saw her perform live at a Dayton 500 private performance, amazing!
