Summer Fun

Well I guess a lot has been going on... but I have just forgotten to post. This summer has been so fun here in VA. We've made some great new friends, love our ward, love our new area, and have had so much fun exploring. For some reason I have definitely missed family lately though... I think it's because they are doing all of the traditional summer trips and it is so weird not being there! But that's ok. I am excited to see them soon :)

There has also been a lot going on in the Utah neck of the woods... my best friend Keri had her twins! (I was waiting for her to post but gosh... I just got too impatient:)). They are the cutest newborns on the planet. I'll tell you what- it is so hard not being there when your friends or family members have new babies. I am sure it was such an amazing experience. Look how adorable... in the picture below... (to see more.. you will have to go to her blog and look at them when she posts!)

My other good friend Caitlin got engaged! Not a more perfect way for her then to do it while waterskiing in Lake Powell... miss you! We are so happy for you!

As I mentioned we have made such fun new friends here in Alexandria. It's been fun to do all sorts of things... baseball games, dinners, desserts, movies, and of course the Wii. We had so much fun at Britni and Richie's place the other weekend playing the Wii. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard. And let me tell you that I was exhausted after. That is how out of shape I am :)

We went to Great Falls with them too. Gorgeous! Its a hike/trail (I guess you'd say) to go see the beautiful views of Great Falls. This was actually a while ago-but I had to post it because it was so much fun!
