We just didn't think it would end so soon! Our New York experience has come to an end! :( Jeff has finished his coursework and will now work on his thesis. And then he will graduate in October. Everyone would always say to me "take in every minute because this is going to be the greatest time of your life and it will fly by!". Well everyone... you were right. It was probably THE funnest thing Jeff and I have ever done! We lived up every minute we could! From bike rides, movies, concerts, dinners, bowling in Jersey, meeting up for dessert with friends, game nights with friends, broadway plays, visitors every weekend, central park, being addicted to our favorite tv shows, trying to find coupons grocery stores and pharmacies:), Christmas events in December, thanksgiving parade, canal street, late night subway rides with drunk people, to just living the beautiful city life!! We will miss it!! Thank you to all of our good friends- you know we will be back to visit. I am so proud of Jeff and his hard work throughout this whole year. I wouldn't have been able to enjoy every day of it, relax and not have a job if it weren't for Jeff! I am so impressed with his tenacity and hard work to first of all get into Columbia... and then his dedication to do so well in school. Congrats my love! Thank you for such an amazing year.
Here we are driving to our next destination... WASHINGTON DC! Jeff was offered a summer internship in Alexandria, VA with a company called Avalon Bay. We are so excited! So here we are in our budget truck hauling our stuff. It was one of the most stressful days ever! We probably got lost 10 times in DC. It is the most confusing city. And when you have a 16' budget truck and no GPS there is a lot of yelling :) ha ha. But it was still so much fun to see our new place to live.
Liz came again! We had so much fun doing the last few things we wanted to do before we left NYC. And we finally had great weather!!
So I had to post this picture because I don't know what I am going to do without my good friends Melanie and Marylynn. I am going to miss them so much! There is no way I could have done it without them. Hanging out every weekend, watching our favorite shows, shopping, road trips, and playing games. Thanks for being such great friends!
My mom, Aunt Jennifer, and Grandma Patti came as well! We had so much fun seeing all of the sites and shopping in the rain.
When Liz was here we finally ate at the Boathouse. oh my gosh- one of the best experiences! It was a beautiful sunny day and great food.
