Brooke and Brady come to visit Miss Iz

Brooke and Brady came to visit! So much fun when family comes in town. They hadn't seen Izzy yet so it was so great for her to meet her aunt and uncle.

We had a great time doin the same fun stuff we do in Miami! Beach, pool, beach, food, beach, sleep and play with Izzy...

In case you didn't notice below I have "Mr T" as a daughter with her little mohawk. B & B thought we cut her hair like that... so for all ya'll who think the same... the answer is no ... her hair just came this beautiful way :) i had to tell Brady... you can't shave a baby's head my friend

we tested out the Ritz Carlton again on Key Biscayne and snuck into their pool and ordered ourselves some nachos

Her first weekend at the beach! it is perfect because it has finally cooled down.. i know ya'll think that we're spoiled and all but we did go through a brutal summer!

Thanks B & B for such a great time... come again soon we already miss ya

The Big 3-0

That's right... someone had a birthday!

October 3rd... Jeff turned 30

We had a great time celebrating...

From dinner, to watching movies, to sitting by the pool, to opening presents,to going to the keys, to being surprised with friends by a cake with candles to just being together.

I decorated the table with all of his favorite things...

reeses, diet coke, chips, oranges, presents, pictures of Izzy and me...

Then we were headed off to the Florida Keys! Izzy was having kind of a rough time on the way down... but not a better drive to stop ever hour. Jeff would just jump in the ocean and take a little swim :)

Here is the hotel we stayed at in Key West. We swam at the pool, enjoyed a little dinner at the hotel and then did his favorite thing- watch football

The next day we headed to the beach. Izzy's first day at the beach... and not a more beautiful day!

and then the next weekend my friend Amanda and I threw a little SURPRISE PARTY for the hubbies (her husband's bday was the day after Jeff's). It was so fun to have friends by the pool for some cake and a little Happy Birthday singing.

30 is great birthday! Jeff, I have loved every minute I have known you...from the moment we met on our first trip to Palm Springs and you made me think to myself “wow, that would be amazing to be married to Jeff Wood”, to driving the snow cat on our first date, to saying “yes I will marry you” in the love cave in Maui, to holding your hand tight in the temple as we saw eternity together, to renting our first house in the Avenues, to spending sleepless nights remodeling our dream house on Gregson Avenue, to getting the phone call saying “guess what… I got accepted” and packing our bags to New York, to driving across country to our next adventure in Washington D.C., to being incredibly excited sitting in the car finding out we had a blessing coming July 10^th, 2010, to crying together when we found out you got a job in the worst job market ever… in Miami! To loving waking up Saturday mornings and heading to the beach… to kissing my forehead and holding my hand as we welcomed our little girl into our arms. To then seeing your face as you held your precious daughter for the first time. These are the times I cherish the most… the times I’ve been with you my love.

Happy Birthday... can't wait to see what the next 30 years bring

Utah Trip in September

After Hebgen and Izzy's blessing, Jeff went home and I spent a little more time in Utah. It was so fun to see friends and family again!

Each day Iz and I would go to lunch or meet friends and family for dinner. And then at night we would always rent a movie and grab dinner with my family. It was such a nice time to relax.

And the greatest was the I had Grandma Lizzie and Laurie to babysit! So foreign to us out of staters :) Thank you for all your help!

With it being so flippin hot in Miami right now I never get to dress Izzy up but we had fun dressing her up in Utah!
