The Woods come to New York

We have been spoiled with great visitors! The Woods came out last weekend and we had a blast. It is SO fun to have FaMiLy out. We of course had to do the bikes in Central Park. We biked around for about 3 hours and then grabbed a quick bite to eat before we went and saw Eagle Eye at the IMAX.

This was awesome- we took a cruise line around the Statue of Liberty on the Hudson River. It was so cool to hear the history of all of the buildings and the river.

WICKED... Oh my gosh is all I have to say

We ate at a great restaurant "TAO" (I think I had it posted earlier- the same one that Hitch was filmed at). The Seabass is amazing

We had so much fun Liz, Eric and Alan! Thanks for always spoiling us. We sure miss you already but are so excited to see you at Christmas time!

What we've been up to

We have loved this Fall weather here in NYC. However, I can't believe that it's the end of October. Time has flown! Mel and I were able to get on the REGIS AND KELLY SHOW the other day. It was so much fun! We had to wake up at 5:30 a.m. and wait in line for 3 1/2 hours but well worth it =). We actually only got on to the second taping (so not the live portion) but it was still cool. We got to see the actor that is starring in the new tv show "Life on Mars". The studio is smaller than you think! And it's crazy seeing Regis and Kelly in real life. We actually attempted to get on the show again yesterday morning because when I heard that the heartthrob ZAC EFRON was on, I was like "we are going!"... well we woke up even earlier this time and waited again for 3 hours and then they came out and told us that there were no more seats.... bummer! Oh and let me mention that it was freezing! I had to put my gloves on my feet because me being the genius wore slip on shoes and not warm boots =). I wanted to wait outside to see if I could see Zac walk out of the studio but I guess when you can't really feel your toes... it's time to go home. =)

The other weekend Marylynn, Scott and Jeff and I were able to take a little drive outside of the city. It was gorgeous. It was nice to get out and go eat at a fun restaurant HoUsToNs in Jersey. Here is some great pictures of our drive...

Connecticut for Jeff's Birthday

I know this is a little late... but we had the chance to go to Connecticut for Jeff's birthday (October 3rd). It was so fun to get away and see what's outside of the city! It was Jeff and I, the Olsens and Marylynn (Scott couldn't come so we're so glad Marylynn did!). We stayed in New Haven, Ct. It was gorgeous! We went to a great seafood restaurant on Friday night, explored Yale University and also the beaches and harbors on Saturday, hot tubbed, relaxed and watched conference. It was great! We could not believe how BEAUTIFUL everything was- especially Yale University. I think Connecticut is my new favorite place =).
